Twin-shaft paddle mixers feature intensive and high-efficiency performance.
They boast a short mixing cycle, with a designed mixing time of 1 to 5 minutes, achieving uniform mixing at a dosing ratio of 1:10,000 (CV < 5%). Two mixing shafts inside the horizontal cylinder rotate in opposite directions at equal speeds. Paddles arranged at special angles on the shafts ensure that materials are tossed in radial, circumferential and axial directions, forming a compound circulation to achieve uniform mixing in an extremely short time.
This mixer delivers high mixing uniformity, fast mixing speed and no segregation during mixing.
It achieves full mixing with no dead zones or material deposition. It avoids overheating of heat-sensitive materials, and prevents crushing or grinding of particles. When mixing solid-solid ingredients at a ratio of 1:10,000 for materials with significant density differences and viscosity, the deviation of mixing uniformity is less than 5%.
Discharge is through the bottom of the cylinder, available with manual and pneumatic large-opening doors, featuring fast discharge and excellent sealing. Meanwhile, the machine has a high filling coefficient, small footprint and low height profile, making operation, maintenance and cleaning convenient.
Both the main shaft and paddle fasteners of the mixer are solid throughout, and the main shaft is a single integrated through shaft.
